how do you plant an arch

Answers

Not sure what you mean, Guest - if your arch is in place, then choose suitable climbing plants, one per side, and dig large holes, plant the climbing rose or clematis or whatever, and back-fill the holes. You'll need to tie in the shoots as they grow up.

If your arch is a lot more than a metre wide, you could decide to plant additional climbers in the same way.

That's why I was a bit puzzled, Hijuju - do you think the guest wanted advice on putting the arch up in the first place?
