Welcome, Abrook!
I would give it plenty of light, even some direct morning sun. For watering, it likes to dry out about 1 cm down between soakings, but the soil should be thoroughly wet when it is watered. Feed it regularly with a tropical plant food--3-1-2 proportions are ideal for N-P-K. A little Epsom salts several times a year is also beneficial. If the flowerbuds turn yellow before they open, it usually means that it's getting watered too often. Treat bugs as they appear: common pests include mealybugs, aphids, spider mites, scale, or whitefly.
Hope this helps!
