At the moment i have a lawn which has been torn up by my dog, i wish to put fresh turf down and am wondering if i can rake the surface and add topsoil then lay new turf or do i have to take out old lawn and start afresh?

Hi Mikee you can rake over the surface top up an depression and sow with lawn seed - BUT if you continue to allow your dog to tear up the grass what is the point?
