How long can I sexpect my laburnam tree to live - it is about 35 years old and has just had two large branches removed as they were dead.

Be aware that this tree can fail suddenly - we had one about that age in our previous garden - it blew over in a gale, as it was dying. We had no warning, either! I don't think they're particularly long lived.
Moongrower is right - check it out with the tree surgeon!
