Hi, I think this was answered on question 18020

Guest - your palm tree might, or might not, recover, you will have to wait and see - if nothing by mid May, its a goner.
Zenga, I don't know why you've asked a question under Guest's question but the answer is yes, you can plant them now and get them in flower at the garden centre, the primroses that is - the crocuses are possible, but you will have to look and see.

cut the palm off at the base and it should resprout and grow on, cutting it now will save you having to chase the fallen fronds all around the garden.

A word of caution - you don't say which palm it is you're talking about, Guest - do not, under any circumstances, cut the top off any palm other than a Cordyline, so if yours is a Cordyline, then fine - but I'd still wait till end of the month to do that.

How do I say thanks?
