i have 3 cordylines in my garden and the leaves have drooped until they pointing to the ground i have cut one down to about 4 feet and its trunk is very spongey, has it started to die and rot, they live in quit windy conditions being not to far from the sea and my soil is in a raised rockery border and is good from mary

On plant Cordyline australis

It'll be the cold this winter that's done it - wait till end of April to see if they recover or put out new growth, but if they're spongy and rotting, they're ex cordylines I'm afraid.

How do I say thanks?
