Can anyone tell me if Hebe Speciosa Napuka (green leaves, big pink flower spike) is hardy to -5C?

Hello. I understand that Hebes are more frost tender the larger the flower type, hardier the smaller. Here in the UK, I have found this to be very true one particularly bad winter we had a number of years ago....

A native plant of New Zealand, it will tolerate some extreme conditions - drought and salt. It will tolerate light to medium frosts say some growers and others that it is frost tender. I would err on the side of caution and protect it from frost
