I planted a Jasminum polyanthum in Spring last year and it soon grew and gave beautiful flowers. During this winter the leaves have shrivelled and it looks very unhealthy. I didn't do anything to prevent the frost from getting to it and wondered if it is now beyond help! Can you advise me as to what to do please?

This form of Jasmine is normally kept as a houseplant, though it will grow happily outside if the winters are mild and it's in a sheltered spot. I'm afraid you'll just have to wait and see if it grows in the spring - don't cut it back yet, leave it till April and then prune off all the dead growth and see if it grows.
