Depends if its growing strongly.......if there is no sign of green, wait until there is before starting to water; bring it into warmth and water when the compost has dried out. There is a school of thought that says water from the top....as too much watering from the bottom can rot the roots. Start feeding once the flower bud is showing well. Remember to turn the plant every day once the scape (stem) is showing well, to avoid flopping.

i was thinking it was already growing amblealice, wasnt thinking as just a bulb, the question didnt state how far grown it was, i water from bottom and its doing really well, but dont soak it, i turn mine each day to
