About Orchids

Hello... a few weeks back I bought a wonderful Orchid from M&S well at £4.99 you have to dont't you? I do not quite know what to do after it has lost its glorious bough of flowers,I have read to cut the stem off at the very bottom or cut it off where the last flower was...what is your advice. Ta very much

I think the question "Stalks after cutting" on the right may help you - good luck with the orchids, great bargain:-)

Inever cut stems from any species of Orchids , the stems feed nourishment back into the plant , when they ere withered up and qite flat you can remove right at the base of the plant.
