We keep finding a yellow porridge-like substance on our lawn - what is it - any ideas?

It looks like a cross between porridge and couscous! Measures about 5 inches across and appears in different places at different times. Always looks the same.

It could be a slime mould or possibly vomit, hedgehog, cat, fox?
Just guessing mind.

Its one of the slime moulds. i had this a couple of years ago. it dries a bit like the expanding foam that builders use. Its nothing to worry about and wont harm your plants.
