My spider plant has lots long shorks which have grown babies

After I have snipped the babies off what do you do about the long stork, do I leave it or do I cut it off? Any advice would be appreciated.

Just cut it off Tabbycat. The plantlets only form once so if you leave the stalk, it will just die back anyway.
