can I save tomato seeds for next year?

Further to my previous ? re identyfing tomato plants the anonymous ones are outperforming the moneymaker by a factor of loads. Can I save seeds from these for next years planting and perhaps announce a new species, tomatus anonymus. Ksmerd

I always save some seeds,especially when I have bought some lovely flavoured ones.I just dry them on tissue ,and then place in envelope,for next year.

you can certainly use the seed, but they may be totally different to the plant this year. let the seed dry and keep it in a paper envelope until next year. enjoy the experiment :o)
