They should be planted from early to late summer, you may get away with planting straight away, they are only frost hardy so I would grow in a greenhouse to be sure it survives the winter, Derek.

They are in flower here right now; they flower in late summer and then put up the leaves all winter before going dormant in spring - why you need to give them above freezing temperatures. I have the white one, and it took 3 years to see the first flower.
