How do i move and split angels fishing rods

Ibought these from qvc about three years ago and now they are taking over the boards and need to be split and replanted

I have some that were split last year and have not flowered yet...they are very ~"huffy~"....

they have a corm so in the autumn lift with a fork and break up the clump and replant to the same depth as they have been. They may not flower next year as the books say they resent movement. some i moved last year flowered this year and another clump havent.
