Looks more like Leptospermum to me - the leaves look like they're very narrow - if they're aromatic and evergreen, that's what it is, not sure which variety though, possibly Red Damask. Potentilla isn't evergreen and it doesn't look like potentilla to me anyway.

Yes Bamboo the leaves are narrow.I was seeing the flower as similar to potentilla. Lovely little shrub Lesley.
