i want to get a rambling rector rose for my son but i'm not sure when is the right time to purchase it? i don't want to buy one and it's the wrong time of year to plant it, any advice on the best time to buy? thanks Tony.

You can get roses in containers now, Tony and it's fine to plant them at this time of year as long as they are well-watered. :-)

Bare-rooted ones aren't available at this time of year.

The best time to plant, though, is actually autumn or early spring - less likely to suffer drought.

How do I say thanks?
