About me

I am a mother of 4, a poet and a fairly beginner gardener. Two years ago my back yard was completely dug up, and I needed to put it all back together. It's been a wonderful learning experience, and I've had many surprises, and a good amount of disasters. I love to go out early in the day with my 2 big doggies and assess both the earth and the sky over coffee, poetry, and prayers. Having a garden has given me great joy in my life, and although my garden is more weeds and wild than anything else, it's beginning to take shape. I have a small yard, with a flower garden and some herbs. I seem to be feeding all the neighborhood rodents my strawberries. Every day there is a surprise! I enjoy this site so much.
