Thanks! I love Chilean Wine Palms! It has the largest girth of any palm, known in the world.
I've seen photos of this palm growing in southern England. It's an extremely hardy palm. Some forms have been known to survive temps down to 5ºF (-15ºC) with minimal damage.

Yes, it's painfully slow-growing, though. Most seedlings planted now would be for future generations to enjoy.
This tree is probably 100 years old, possibly older. I'm sure it was moved to this spot.
