I'd like some different colours...I really like the almost purple ones. More to add to that wish-list!

They are delightful!

I have a darker blue one (not quite purple) but it doesn't clump up as much as the pale blue...if I can split it you are welcome to a bit :)

CrazyDi, there is one of the cultivers called 'Something Butterly', can't remember exactly, but agree with the comparison. I only have the purple one (just the species, I think) but beautiful anyway.

Funnily enough, it wasn't on ours when we were looking for our retirement home...but we are very glad we have it (except when it floods!!!)

Dotty, Iris sibirica will grow in ordinary soil (well, heavy clay, anyway) but a stream would be nice,

stunning flowers.

Lovely this lighter color. This is a wild iris here, all over, usually the dark purple. They should open in a few weeks I think, I love the height and the strong blooms.

Really? How lovely! I suppose with a name like 'sibirica' I should have guessed that it would be a native in colder climes. :-)
Please, please post a photo of the wild ones if it's possible!
