Dicentra formosa - 2014

By Andrewr

Dicentra formosa - 2014 (Dicentra formosa)

For part shade in moist soils (although this one is in quite a dry spot and has grown happily for more than fifteen years). Up to 18 inches high, but at least twice that across, so give it plenty of room.

Love these plants, make massive clumps in our garden, still easy to grub out.

One of my favourite perennials, pretty foliage, pretty flowers, easy to grow. What else could you ask?
