Think the minors are the better variety Chris .Majors more leggy and less profuse - love white flowers .

Very pretty. You're right BB about the Majors - had to chop ours out eventually - they tried (and nearly succeeded!) taking over in our garden.

I passed up vinca this year, though I kept gravitating towards it. Might be something that would give me a long happy season here. Wonderful find.

Members' notes...
Bought 2 from Baumax on 22nd March 2008 (white and blue). Planning to put them on bank near drive. Planted on 23rd with compost (soil very polluted with builders sand.
From Ruth's plantings that ran wild. Planted in white concrete planters & under hedges & near milkcan.
It's a beautiful pale coral...and does wonderfully in full sun and in dry conditions...they're popping up everywhere in Houston this summer! These are the types I have now:
'Cora Mix' - pale pinkish coral
'Pacifica Lipstick Mix' - this name makes me laugh! It's a brilliant magenta color.
'Cobra Orange' - with a name like this, I found it irresistible- also the color is unusual - a deep brilliant orange with petals that seem to twist a little - hence the 'cobra' part of it, I imagine!
Useful if controlled.
