In Diohio's garden
I've found several of these growing in our back woods. They are all very short and have never bloomed. In 2005 I transplanted 2 to the front yard. In 2007 one of them finally bloomed ! They are native. The fruits are eaten by birds and mammals. Native Americans used to use a bark tea to treat diabetes.
