I must go and look at mine - maybe it's got flowers on it too - I agree with you, I much prefer the white to the pink. I don't know its name, though, as it was already in the garden. How many types are there? - white I mean.

I've just checked the RHS Plant Finder - White Icicle and Tydeman's White are the only two currently listed although there are a couple more not currently available in the UK

How stupid of me - why didn't I think of that? I shall now get my Hillier out and look in there! On second thoughts, maybe I should wait until I've looked at the flowers on mine, because my memory doesn't go back as far as last spring - and I hadn't started taking close-up photos then, only general ones.

Yes, mine is also a 'White Icicle' and its first flowers are just opening. I found out because the plant label is still there, at its base! Just shows they are not bio-degradable! I'm pleased to know its name, though. Another one for 'My Garden'.

Nice shrub pretty flowers in spring oh my goodness its a bit smelly hence the reason why its at the back of the garden next to the compost bin
