This is also a heritage plant of my grandfather's that moved with each generation until it ended up in my garden . My mom is in her late 80's so this too must be of that era. It is special indeed.

My mother in law has one of these in her small courtyard garden which will be 72 years old this year. It was given to Father in law (sadly no longer with us) the year he was born and has moved from house to house with him. A thing of beauty that just keeps going

Peony don't like to be moved , and take awhile to become established, but the resulting blooms are rewarding. The challenge is in supporting them during heavy rains as the blooms do become heavy and tend to bend,

No sorry...it has been passed down through the generations. Seems to like its spot in my garden though.

i have one planted in the front garden, and one i have planted on the right hand side where the woodland and patio beds meet.
Ellers går det ud over blomstringen.
* Soil Type: Normal
Choose a sunny location, although it will tolerate a little shade.
* Ease of maintenance: Easy
Large double deep rose-pink flowers with slightly ruffled petals.
* Fragrant: No
* Poisonous: toxic if eaten
skin & eye irritant
Ensure they are planted with their growing points, or buds, just below the surface. Deep planting can prevent paeonies from flowering. .

Are they planted too deeply? That would cause non-flowering.
