It is a shame that folks pull it off and remove it entirely. Its growing out of an old stone wall in our front garden. It appears to like the full sun as well without very little soil and it looks very pretty.

A delicate British fern that will attch itself to walls in full sun or shade. Requires a gritty soil.

Also grows here in south west Wales. It's everywhere on old walls and very pretty. I've seen people clearing it off the walls and having just bare stone. I think that's such a shame.
