Does not transplant very well, plant direct.?
long growing season plant early and keep well watered.
If transplanting plant in modules and keep moist harden off
before planting out, take care not to bury the crowns.
remove outer leaves after July to expose crowns
Easier to grow than celery
useful for winter salads and soups.
deterirates after lifting so leave in ground and protect from frost with fleece bracken or straw
