This is one of the hailstones that I managed to pick up. This is my husbands hand so you can imagine the size of what was coming down.

quite a few of my friends lost most of their flowers in the garden, and when I went for a ride on my bike yesterday it looked like someone had hacked at all the trees on the edge of the woods. My son's friend had them go through the plastic roof of his shed. There was still some iced up together in a pot next morning, and the temp didn't drop very much. it was really strange.
