Bromelaid
I picked up a plain green Bromelaid at a plant trade one year and the next year, imagine my surprise and delight when it bloomed !
Thanks to Greenthumb I now know that this is called Aechmea fasciata ! I think it's Silver Vase. Thanks so much !

This one is an Aechmea, looks like my 'Silver Queen'. I have a pup going, so I hope to get to see this bloom again. Mine doesn't have the spined edges on the leaves so yours may not be the 'SIlver Queen' variety, but a definate match by flower. Definate Aechmea. Your's looks absolutely fantastic!
