Petunia - Bonanza series

I like this - how tall does it get and does it do that thing that ordinary petunias do where they get leggy, sticky and lean over?

Bamboo - some of these stand up to around 30 cms tall - and yes they do get leggy and lean over.

Like it.

Oh how disappointing. I only grow the surfinia trailing type of petunia now, cos I hate the way the ordinary ones look later in the season.

I really like that colour.

Thanks all - it is a great colour.

Bamboo - I just keep on giving it a good hair cut to keep it looking good as these will last for nearly six months.

Avis I just trim them back every month (after they've had a strong flowering period) and give them a good feed. They're back flowering within a fortnight or so - I have other pots that I put out while these are re-growing. They go on like this for a long time.

Thanks Morgana - these will be needing another good haircut soon.

lol will you get more then are they anual?

27 Jul, 2009

Yes they're annuals here but they will flower continuously from late autumn to early summer - we have a very mild winter where I live.

Thank you and lucky you :)
