Same here, I would like to start collecting them, though they take awhile to grow from seed.

Talljim - some Hellebores are used to extremes. helleborus niger, for instance is a mountain plant native to Swiss Alps, Croatia, Austria, Southern Germany etc. - so maybe you'd have a chance?

saw Helleborus foetidus blooming at altitude at the w'end, have u tried that one Jim ?
