Conifer????
These are oval, and go very dark bronze in winter, being dark green in summer. They also scorched badly in sun last year. What are they?

Could this be a Japanese Cedar (Cryptomeria)?

Hi Xela, From what I can see on the Internet Cryptomeria are big trees, and can't see mention of a dwarf like mine. I'll keep looking.

Does this conifer have soft or stiff foliage ?

I would describe this as fairly soft foliage. Definitely not stiff and prickly.

I have one of these but I dont know either what it is The first year I had it I thought it had died when it went bronze in winter I like you only know it is a conifer hopefully someone will know
