A view from the big house down the herbaceous borders and out to Loch Leven where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned. A super garden to visit.

Do you know, this is only 20mins drive from home, yet I've NEVER visited! Will definitely do so this year, tho - if we get a summer - and visit the castle on the island, too. I think my son would really enjoy that. Many thanx for the idea!

Always enjoyed our summer visits to Loch Leven. Nice trip down memory lane going on here now. Never visited Kinross House though - guess my folks didn't trust us enough lol
