Wish mine looked like this too.
At this time of the year, with winter just round the corner, it so tempting to focus on springtime colour and fill the garden with promising bulbs. However, when it is time to invest in plants to provide autumn colour they receive less attention, we are busy with seed propagation and distracted by the new life in our gardens.
My 'garden report' would read: A pleasing performance in spring but needs to plan for the other seasons, especially autumn.

Thanks for your comments. We find that our garden is at its best in Spring and in Autumn. Summer is the one we need to work on.
