I am 'allowed' an area of grass to have crocus in but only a small one as OH doesn't like leaving the grass to get too long.
I chose 'Pickwick' as it has a strong colour and the birds tend to leave it alone.

My friend plans to do something similar for next spring, her husband isn’t too keen. He has the same thoughts - what about cutting the grass when it gets too long? I think she may win this debate!!!
