Fritilaria persica bulbs Pictures by rosalieg
Fritilaria persica bulbs
Two went in last fall, three came out today. One had divided over the winter. This type needs to be replanted annually on its side to avoid water getting in the hole at the top of the bulb.

Traceylynn - you should be able to see the picture of the bloom at http://www.growsonyou.com/photo/slideshow/17448/
They stand around 3 or so feet tall and are quite pretty. The bulbs are a little expensive as far as bulbs go, so getting two and ending up with three is a nice bonus :)
What else?
