Only half of this is in leaf!! the other half of the plant could be dead! which is the majority, I will be very upset, as this is my favourite Acer, we have never had any trouble getting it through the winter before.........

Its a while since we had such a miserable winter. Lets hope you can prune it back into shape eventually, its very attractive.
