Hibiscus acetosella

Hibiscus acetosella (Hibiscus acetosella)

Also known as the Red Leaf Hibiscus. I started it from seed last spring, and it is now starting to flower. It is sometimes grown as an annual, but I am hoping it is warm enough here for it to be perennial.

I got the seeds from a site called Sunshine-seeds.de in Germany. Huge selection of unusual seeds.

Thanks! It is in an 8" pot, so you could probably overwinter one in a conservatory. This is in bloom again today :)
