Litchi chinensis - Lychee

Litchi chinensis - Lychee (Litchi chinensis - Lychee)

This relatively small tree had no fruit. Sometimes they have alternate bearing years. It's a slow-growing tree which is a very long-lived tree native to South-east Asia. Photo taken Sept. 5, 2017 at Quail Botanical Gardens.

Yes, it's related to Longan or Dragon's eye. The fruit tastes very similar, also.
