Valerian by the gate! Lots of it now!

I've seen that around locally this year, very attractive. Does it self seed?

Oh yes, very easily.
In fact we have no idea where ours came from!!

That may mean I will have some soon - it is in a garden just around the corner :)

Lovely how plants sometimes select you and not the other way round.

I love Valerian , but haven't room for it here !

I've seen it growing like weeds in colours of white, pink and a kind of red. If you don't mind it taking over it's very colourful.

I love Valerian too,Chris..It reminds me of Cornwall,seeing it growing in every wall or gardens on the roadside..and what a pretty cottage too :o)

There are 3 different colours and to see them growing wild is a lovely sight I agree.
They are rather invasive in the garden but outdo the weeds!
