Cooool oregano

Good insulation for the plants.

Since the third of December 2013 we have received at least two feet of snow which was diminished by a January thaw...and since we've had steadily more in small increments. It's snowing now...coming down in fine flakes...about 3 cms. since early morning. Tonight the temps are going to be above zero and this precip will change to rain...That is not welcome. Tomorrow will be very dangerous travelling... We plan to stay home.
Yes, Klahanie that is the only upside to this. I'm happy to say that this clump of oregano is under a foot of snow. ...April is terrible because we lose our snow but not the cold...sometimes my poor perennials are popped out of the ground with the freeze/thaw cycles.
