One morning there was strange crunching sound at the front door, and out the front window I find!....
This is where the bushes went, right down this little yearlings gullet! My purple clematis 'olgae' was eaten as well, which did not return but he spit out this monkshood leaving it standing but a great hole in the snow.

Its amazing and infuriating! lol. I think it actually bedded there, the hole in the snow was big and deep. Probably ate until his belly hurt and then slept it off. I'm only one block from the old garden, so it is even the same bunch of creatures! The new additions have a 6ft or more requirement, to give them a chance. :-)

They are always on the move, eating the tips of brush and trees, bark. They get along okay, but its a rough existence.
