Prunus Kojo No mai

How pretty.

This is such a beautiful Prunus, was very tempted to have this one, but went for Accolade instead......

I feel sad that I lost mine every time I see one! I see them in the GC and am tempted, but not sure exactly where I could squeeze it in now. I planted a Witch Hazel in it's place....sigh...you can't have everything...not even with plants! :) It is very beautiful though J...enjoy!

The Accolade is a small tree, suited to the smaller garden, it is more of a single trunked tree as opposed to a shrub like the Jojo No Mai....

Its lovely Julia and luckily you can't have had all the strong winds !

Julia, have you heard of Batsford Arboretum? They are having a Japanese Cherry Festival (on now!) in Moreton-in-the-Marsh. We plan to visit, but will wait a week or so for the blossom to be fully out . . . should be GORGEOUS.
