My hens and Light Sussex cockerel

I v'e had my chickens since June 2012 and i love them.They give us so much entertainment.Ishould of had 5 hens however as the weeks went on ,one started looking abit different than the rest.Then one fine morning at around 6.00 am, we were woken up to the sound of a cockerel.No complaints from the neighbours YET!!!

He certainly is a handsome chap, a nice bit of eye candy for the hens......:))

aww..I would love to keep chickens..but too many fox lurking about in the field, and they have some cubs too, they are roaming about like mad at the moment because my friend from 2 gardens away just started keeping chickens.
