Bees a Buzzing, L stenocephala

Bees a Buzzing, L stenocephala (Ligularia stenocephala)

The bees just love the blooms of ligularia stenocephala in my garden. I hope it attracts the swarm again at the new one. They don't even see me as I move in close, they can't be stopped from digging in deep. Mmmmm, for me this is summer.

We do not have any bees around anymore. But I also do not have much blooming flowers at this time of the year.

Ah, yes, this is more nostalgia, the pic from end of July. We currently are buried beneath our first 4-5 inches snow and -C somewhere for two weeks. I post late so I have things to share all the long long winter.... :-) Moments like this bring the feeling of sun to my face.

What else?

See who else is growing Ligularia stenocephala.

See who else has plants in genus Ligularia.

This photo is of "Ligularia Stenocephala 'Little Rocket'" in Greenthumb's garden
