I am so happy I have got this mortar for herbs. It is made from Pakistan green onyx, which is associated with my astrological sign. The stone has healing properties, so it is optimal for herbs. I hope so.

Lol. I am not sure, but I saw here some bautiful kitchen and bathroom boards made from it. Some are imported from China, some directly from Pakistan. It is very lovely gemstone :))

lovely, good luck with it. I bought a cast iron pestle and mortar, never been able to use it, it's too heavy! hope yours gets a lot of use.

That is nice,they must have plenty of Onyx to use it on cooking utensils.
