Coming home from work so...between 2:30 and 4:30pm

The light is so striking, I would have guessed either much earlier or much later. Wonderful blocks of shade there......

What kind of monastery was it? Are there still monks/nuns?

A Franciscan Monastery...No kat, no monks or nuns are left here.

It is called the Angel Centre now.

Thank you for the link. I read it as it is interesting, yet a common story. Very sad, if you take that the monastery is just around hundred years old - so not so old as let say Valley of Kings or Taj Mahal. But it had fortunately good end. Still, when I watch ruins and then their renewed buildings, I can´t get rid of feeling that something is missing, something definitely lost.
