Roses planted and Lavendar (English)

Roses planted and Lavendar (English)

Deep Secret - Red, Fragrant Cloud - Red, Gertrude Jekyll - Pink, Fragrant Dream - Redish Pink (not quite sure about this one) could have got the name wrong! Will check label later. In the middle is a Standard Rose, never grown one of these before, it is called Arthur Bell - Dark Yellow (Gold) plus I planted two English Lavendar hope I can grow them ok. Knew it didn't sound right, it is not Fragrant Dream but Velvet Fragrance. lol. just checked the labels. lol.

Thank you Sticki and Michaella, fingers crossed for a good display eh!! I shall put some smaller plants at the front maybe a small hardy geranium or two or even some dianthus, think they might be nice for a change.

found them, yes Tetrach's is circular and looks quite a lot bigger than mine, but it is lovely, good to see other ideas think this will be the last removal of grass for me, but you never know. Never say never as they say,. lol.

I like the idea of yellow roses and blue lavender.

only one yellow one the standard in the centre of the border Pimpernel, the rest are deep rose pink and reds well supposedly lol. Only time will tell, but eh ho not to worry as long as they smell nice I am not too concerned, oh wanted red ones, I am a yellow orange peach type of girl but do not mind really red roses especially if someone buys me a dozen for my vase. Which I might add does not happen very often. lol but I suppose we cannot have everything can we? lol. :o)

You too olive, it was certainly cool last night but it looks as if we may have missed the frost? Perhaps all the trees around have protected the garden?
