Mine resets every time it is opened, which is daily for me. It is such a pain that I don't bother to set it; fortunately the date doesn't print out, but it can be in 'properties' if I don't edit it...so annoying!

New camera, didn't realise the date would show on the picture. I shall have to make sure the date is right next time!
