Persicaria 'Red Dragon' (Persicaria 'Red Dragon')

This one may spread but on heavy clay under a magnolia, it has stayed in place - so far

I only recently planted one of these. Can they be invasive then, Andrew?

Most persicarias can spread. Some say this one does and some say it doesn't. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Mine has stayed put for the three years since it was planted but it is in an inhospitable place
